Six Records of a Floating Life by Shen Fu
hexad Records of a floating Life, is an exotic, enjoyable read. The reason I free-base the book to be so interest was because each chapter was refer on a theme. Shen Fus history did not progress in chronological order. Rather he organized specific events in a thematic format. I prime it particularly interesting to see how events be told in one chapter, then retold in a different blank in a sequential chapter. Stories with different details provided typical insight into the most fundamental event in Shen Fus liveliness. For example, at the land up of the first chapter, The Joys of the hymeneals ChamberÂ, Shen Fu reveals that Yuns life would end prematurely by a lingering illness. Foreshadowing of Yuns final stage recurs many prison terms throughout the story. The world may neer know.\nI besides admired Shen Fu and Yuns ability to stick a good time wherever they went. This is very embarrassing to read because Shen Fu and Yun are so happy with so little. state today are never seem to be squelched with what they have. The problems Shen Fu and Yun face often point modern day marriages apart. Shen Fe is unable to pass the exams to bring about a magistrate. Yuns health problems are expensive. Shen Fu loses his fathers approval, thus financia...
